ONSITE VISIT (Calgary and Area)

I approach developing mobile web apps and web consoles as opportunities for data collection via mobile devices, and for data presentation and reporting on the web console.

While I work from home, I first need to understand your pain points with your current processes. For clients in Calgary and the surrounding area, I recommend a 3-hour consultation before starting any work.

I always look for open-source solutions during my research. If none are available, I will custom-build what you need.

My first step is to provide a mockup of your application, illustrating its look and functionality. Though it may not be fancy, I'll ensure it looks as good as possible, using WordPress themes to aid the design process.

Once we agree on the app's functionality, I begin building. I typically use DigitalOcean for server setup, though you can provide your own LAMP stack server. I install WordPress, along with themes and plugins like the Always Sign-In feature, to handle security, design, user management, and more, speeding up development.

With the basics in place, I start developing the mobile and web views. You will receive project updates every 24 hours.

The final result is a mobile web application that collects your company's data, paired with a web console that presents it effectively.
